What exactly does this warranty code 3y3y3y  mean? Also how long are laptop batteries covered under warranty? Thanks for any information.

Hi:

 

You will have to contact HP technical support directly to get an answer to your question.

 

All of my business PC's have the 3y, 3y, 3y on the serial number sticker.

 

Basically you have a 3 year warranty on the PC, 3 year on site repair, and I forgot what the last 3y stood for (maybe 3 year phone support).

 

I don't know how long the battery is covered for.

 

Mine's lasted over 3 years.
