hey has anyone fixed this issue on these pavilion g7's...mine has had problem since new, been trying to get it fixed now my warranty is no good. hp refused to reconize this as problem. I also have customers with issue. iv'e tried contacting insyde software adn they do not return calls. i have escalated cases adn hp never calls like the escalation requires. if they would just send update that remapps memory configuring it correctly for dual channel processor, since evidently they do not want customers messing with bios. I have person here with g7 laptop bought in last month with same issue. If nothing gets done i getting customers together adn started class action law suit. way to many with this problem. And google my name Rob gotschall...and youll see that you are having problem with microsoft community, by not adressing this problem.
