what is this

HP Recommended

Hi

The link http://www.tricksguide.com/windows-7vistaxp-driver-for-device-id-acpihpq0006-hpq0006.html isn't working.

I'm upgrading my DV6853EA from Vista to Windows 7 64 bit.  The Hardware Id on this is: ACPI\HPQ0007

Is there a suitable update (HP don't seem to provide support for this model with Windows 7)?

Thanks

I installed sp44777 which seems to work pretty well - it makes the volume keys work (which was what I wanted) although the mute button light doesn't turn orange when muted.  Also the track forward/back, play/pause and stop buttons seem to work, so that's a bonus :generic:

Unless there's a better option that changes the mute button light to orange when audio is muted then this will do fine.
