Hello, I have a Envy DV7 7227cl. I am in the process of removing windows 8 and installing 7.
I need the drivers for AMD Chipset(a10-4600m), and the beats audio driver. I have found all the other drivers. Could someone please post a link? Thanks. Red

Hi:
You can use the chipset driver at the link below. You only want the first file on the list.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows 7 - 64
You should be able to use all of the rest of the W7 x64 drivers and software from this dv7 model.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR FIRMWARE DOWNLOADS FROM THIS LINK

Hello.
I am trying to install Windows XP on my HP Compaq 15 because I can not stand Windows 7/8, but every time I try, the operating system does not recognize my hard drive. (I have a blue screen that appears).
I tried many ways .. install on my flash drive on my external hard drive, but each time an error was raised.
Anyway, if any of you can help me, that would be great.
Additional Informatios:
HP COMPAQ 15
P / N: K1J08EA # ABF
Model: 15-H051NF
Chipset: AMD K16IMC Rev 00
Southbridge: AMD FCH KABINI Rev7.2
Windows 7/8 / 8.1 works fine, but I want Windows XP;
Thanks a lot for your help.

You are not going to receive help by tacking onto a 3 year old thread. Start your own but I will tell you that you are tilting at windmills. You will never get XP to install properly on that machine. We could get the hard drive recognized with difficulty but there is likely not a complete set of drivers in existence for that model in Windows XP.

Thank you for your response, I will go and open a new post. Shortly I just want running windows xp on this machine because I have programs that are not compatible with other versions of Windows other than XP.

The leading expert here Paul Tikkanen has already answered exactly as I would. If you absolutely must run XP, your best bet is to do it inside a virtual machine and then install your programs onto the virtual machine. You will never get XP running properly as the sole operating system. If you want help with a virtual machine let me know and I will come into the other thread you started. I also seriously doubt you have any programs that will not run on Windows 7.
