AMD Radeon HD 6470M Not working-on Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64-bit -"Hp Pavilion g6 series "

I am now using Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64-bit .the display drivers are not working good. i cant use properly Adobe Photoshop(CC , CS5..etc).

All the "Hp Pavilion g6 series " [Pavilion g6-1201tx]Has the problem. Display Driver .-AMD Radeon HD 6470M

i download lates vertion from here :-

But after install i got error message on Device manager.

Error Message:- "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

Install the newest Windows 8 (64-bit) driver for your notebook only from the HP web support download section. 

uninstall the drivers for both adapters and the Catalyst Control Center by running the softpaq and choosing uninstall all. Once you have done that run the installer again and (select install all)  install the Catalyst Control Center and the drivers.

The switchable graphics capability makes your notebook require the drivers from HP to achieve the switchable graphics capability.

Don't forget to share your results with the forum community.

For me only the SP58660 works on switchtable graphics (Intel HD3000 & ATI Radeon HD6470M).

Yes, the sp58660.exe driver only works on Windows 8, but in Windows 8.1, AMD Radeon HD 6470M does not work correctly. My laptop is HP g6-1104tx and although on HP website has the AMD 6470M driver for Windows 8 but after download and install, the driver does not work, LOL, and I found sp58660.exe which works on Windows 8, but now when upgrade to Windows 8.1, still can't find the properly drivers for AMD Radeon 6470M, very disappointed with HP support 😞

I have a "HP Pavilion g6 series" ( Pavilion g6 - 1206eh ) and I now using Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit.

My problem is same the sp59147.exe (The HP webside this driver can I download my notebook ) but this exe not working good, even at all not working switchtable Win 8 and Win 8.1.  Just the sp58660.exe driver only works on Win 8, but in Win 8.1, AMD Radeon HD 6470M does not work correctly and when I installed my notebook, then my Firefox is collapse every 5 seconds. 😕

Any idea, what can I doing?

I cannot play games, I cannot open silverlight editor and adobe creative suite.

SP58660 is working with Windows 8. it is not working with Windows 8.1

We need to a solution immediately.

I had same problem with my HD 7670m on g7 2320tx,

Catalyst Control Center was not working

i downloaded sp59936 from hp support site

this works with 8.1.

Games r working fine

TEsted NFS Most Wated 2012 at 33 fps with medium settings.

Known Issues:  VLC media player is crashing on High Performance i.e dedicated card, I think it will be fixed with next update of VLC player,

You can still run VLC on Power Saving i.e internal GPU.
