I was typing I think I accidentally hit a keyboard shortcut because all my programs on Windows 7 now look magnified and text is no longer smooth. I already checked the Ease of Access and it's not the magnification setting. I'm using a HP Pavilion dv6 notebook running WIndows 7 (64 bit).

Hi,

Have you tried to hold down Ctrl key and hit - (minus) sign yet ? You can use the mouse too.

Yes, I tried that it just zooms out. It's kind of hard to describe. It just looks blurry and like the resolution is messed up, even though it isn't.

Hi,

Try this:

1. To restore the default screen resolution: Start > Control Panel > Display > Adjust resolution (left - up corner) > Click resolution tab and select the recommended resolution (text is bold)

2. To restore text size in windows: Start > Control Panel > Display and make sure that Text Size is set to 100% (default). Then click on Set custom text size (DPI) and make sure that is set to 100% and Use windows XP style DPI scaling is checked

3. To change the icons size: Actually is very easy, on desktop, just click on one icon, then keep pressed the Left CTRL and use mouse wheel to adjust the icons size as you desire.

Post results.

Best regards,

Andrew
