Elitebook 8440p
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi.  New to the board.  I am an owner of an HPElitebook 8440p laptop.  I am looking to upgrade to USB3.0 support.  I have none now.

I am not that fluent in LT tech, but I see no replaceable units on my system.  The CD+-ROM, Fingerprint RDR, all other IO  ports seem to be hardwired to the unit.  Is it still possible to add USB3.0 suupport?  TY.

Hi,

Even if they could move the ports would not be possible because the chipset that has the motherboard supports up to USB 2.0
