Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum. The key you posted seems too short - it should be 8 characters long - yours is 7 characters. Please, verify it and post back again.

You are welcome, no worries.

When you see the message, enter   48721187

This will unlock your system, reset BIOS password and security settings to be default.
