How can I wake up my Elitebook 2760p from sleep using touch or mouse or keyboard input? The only thing that works is the power button! The touch, mouse and keyboard devices do not have a Power Management tab. Therefore, there is no way to set those devices to wake up the PC from them. The Generic USB Hub and USB Root Hub devices have the "Allow device to wake computer" grayed (greyed) out. The BIOS has the flag set for USB to wake the computer.
The "powercfg.exe - DEVICEENABLEWAKE "Generic USB Hub" command line program returns an error that I do not have permission to enable or disable device wake, even when the command prompt is run as administrator.
I have even set the SystemWakeEnabled flags in the registry to 1.
I am really tired of chasing this down. Nothing works. Can anyone help determine why this is happening?
Thanks
