Hi,
I have a problem on my laptop. My laptop is HP pavilion g4-1357tx, with Windows 7 64 bit, already updated with new BIOS provided in HP website.
I updated my laptop from Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit 2 weeks ago. Since then, I can't use the alt buttons, both on the left and right. Some information on internet said that there might be some dusts under the buttons, and I've tried to clean it, but the problem still occur.
Can anyone help me with this ?
Thank you.

Hi KNRK,
1. I believe that I never split any liquid in considerable ammount to my keyboard. I do know that there were moments that the keyboard got some drops of liquid in the past, but I checked there were no major problem occured after that. Beside, since I said that only the Alt buttons that doesn't work properly, and also they're separated quiet far, I don't think the liquid is the cause of the problem, because the space button, the button between them, work just fine.
2. No keys on the keyboard are fallen off or loose.
I haven't tried any solutions from the link you gave me, since it's almost midnight here and I have to sleep now, but I'm interested in this : http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03738933
Maybe I'll try that tomorrow and immediately report the result to you.
Thank you.

The reason for this issue could be
1. Some system files could be corrupted
OR
2. Due to Static Charge on your Notebook
