Product: Compac Armada 1750

Hi, I own an old Copmaq Armada 1750. I also have its original System Recovery CD and Application Recovery CD.

While trying to restore it to its original OS it prompts me for the laptop's serial #.

I enter the number but it fails as wrong...

I remember I had that problem as the laptop was new (1999) and Compaq support gave me another serial to enter in order to work but I don;t have that number anymore...

Can anyone help?
