Hi Zeamm, Smiley Happy

Your replacement battery must match the specifications of the original. Before you replace your battery, have you tried to test and calibrate it?  Here is a link to assist you with that.Battery Does not Power Notebook or Hold a Charge.

The batteries appearance may vary by region, but the specifications will be the same.

Your system is designed to work on a specific voltage, if you install a battery not recommended, it could have adverse affects.

Hi Zeamm,

I regret that you are having an issue, obtaining a battery. When I tried the usual HP part providers they are referring people to retailers. I have done some research and have located a site where you can purchase your battery. HPLaptopBattery.com.au.  If you google search HP part  506780-001, you will find more outlets. For your convenience here is the link Google search for HP part 506780-001.

The "au" after your model number refers to Australia as the area it was sold in. Please let me know if you still require assistance.
