Dear Support,
I have a ProBook6560b notebook, the BIOS admin password of which I lost. (Actually I have misguided myself when setting it because it had a 'Domain' field and I thought it would be somehow connected to my domain controller when authenticated.)
So, my product number is: LG652EA#AKC
Serial:[Personal Information Removed]
When I enter a false password, there is no code returned.
Could you please help me reset the password?
Thanks a lot,
Zsolt

Thank you, REO,
I'm sad to hear there is no software solution but I accept this as an enhanced security feature.
Anyway, there is nothing urgent that makes me grab the soldering iron, I would rather try to remember the lost password:-)
Thanks,
Zsolt

FZ.
Try calling HP support.
Ask to escalate your trouble call.
They can send you a program that will use your UUID to generate a master code.
I have heard this will work.
If you do try this let us know how things go.
