One thing that worked for me, was to remove the MotherBoard Battery and while the battery is out start the computer. A BIOS screen should show and offer the option to save changes... Replace the battery and reassemble the computer. Good Luck. Bill

I wonder if anybody could help with a Elitebook 2560p I have. I work for a recycling company and sometimes we get laptops with BIOS passwords. Luckily I haven't seen many HP models, but this one is a pretty nice one, so it'd be a shame to scrap it.
The serial number is CNU1462K3D.
The main problem is the fan is set to always be on while on charge, which is quite loud.
