Sorry Zark.

You first need to unlock the BIOS to unlock the HDD.

Hello there. I have a problem with reseting my BIOS password. Today I got the SMC.bin file from the HP support, I followed the instructions I got in an e-mail and I failed. As I click the windows logo button, both arrow keys and turn it on I got a blinking caps-lock indicator, black screen and after a few seconds I got the startup screen where I'm clickng the required F10 button but it only comes in to the BIOS. Nothing happenes. I tried 3 different pen drives and the HP_TOOLS partition and got nothing. Thanks for any kind of help.
