Going to Install the new SSD to the laptop along with booting it up with USB Drive WINDOWS 10 .....
Can anyone help me With the BIOS settings for this laptop so as to access the first boot through USB drive ?

You're very welcome.
It should work for any Windows ISO file...W7, 8, 8.1 or W10.
They named it that because Microsoft created it to use when W7 first came out.
You can also use your CD burning program's burn ISO file option, so that the file is bootable.

Hi:
You don't need to change the BIOS settings.
Just turn on the PC, and tap the F9 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get the boot options menu.
Select the USB hard drive and hit the enter key,
But...I don't think you can boot from a USB flash drive on that model.
I tried it on my 6910p and the USB flash drive lit up, but it wouldn't boot from it. It just hung there.
The 6910p is the 14.1" screen version of your model.
What I suggest is to download the W10 ISO file, burn it to a DVD and install W10 from the DVD.
I have zipped up and attached the Microsoft tool below, which should transfer the W10 ISO file to a DVD so that it is bootable.

My optical drive isn't working..... so CAN I boot windows 10 from USB HARD DRIVE...... EXTERNAL WD HARD DISK 1 TB' ???
I Will download windows 10 tool... and copy it to WD External Hard disk... from 'https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10'
