I upgraded from WIN7 pro 64 bit to WIN10 64 bit.
I constantly face problems with pc ibernation (doesn't work anymore, even without the fast-boot option activated), bluetooth (disappeared after upgrade) and other (sometime pc freezes and I have to reboot...and similar problems).
Windows experts told me I could solve problems by upgrading to the BIOS version compatible with WIN10.
Currently on pc : BIOS 68ccu V.23 in WIN10 64 bit
Upgradable to : F.60 Rev.A (30 Nov 2015) in WIN7 64 bit (because there is no WIN10 option in the drop-down list)
(available at HP drivers&softwares, here)
The problem is that it is not specifically indicated for WIN10, but for WIN7
and from the instructions here, it seems that I have to "select the original operating system that came with your computer" (step 5), which, in my case, was WIN7 32 bit.
I am confused. Should/can I upgrade or not?

Dear Customer,
BIOS update is for the Chipset and doesnt matter if the unit has WIN 7 or WIN 10.
As it says BIOS-Basic Input Output System
The BIOS is a computer chip on the motherboard.
Moreover 8440p was released in the Year 2010 and soon might be discontinued, hence no WIN 8 OR WIN 10 dropdown in the OS list.
We still recommend you to update the unit with latest available BIOS VER for chipset to perform better.
NOTE: If upgrade doesnt happen to Version:F.60 Rev.A, please try to install Version:F.24 (24 Sep 2013) first and then Version:F.50 (8 Jul 2014) and Version:F.60 Rev.A.
