Hello HP Experts, I've got a problem unfortunately with this missing driver and I cannot find it what so ever, I've tried researching alot and I still can't get to make it work.

For some reason my Wireless goes Limited Connection sometimes, and then suddenly goes back. But that's after turning off the wireless and on or restarting the computer, and it get's really annoying.

My Product Number is : LW796ES#UUW

Hardware IDS:

PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&SUBSYS_167E103C&REV_30
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&SUBSYS_167E103C
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&CC_088000
PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2392&CC_0880

Any idea of how I could get some help?

Thank you in advance and sorry for the trouble!

Sincerely,

Yurac

Hi:

See if the latest driver helps.  Other than that, there isn't anything else I can think of to do.

Hi, Yurac:

You need to install the JMicron card reader driver from your PC's support and driver page.

It will be listed in under the storage section for the operating system you are running.

What model wireless network card is installed in your PC?

HP Recommended

Hello and thanks for answering, a normal wireless LAN driver.

802.11n Wireless LAN Card.

You're very welcome.

You can find the model of the wireless card you have by looking in the device manager and clicking on the Network Adapters section.

There you will find the model name and number of the wireless card.

Under network adapter it says the same;

802.11n Wireless LAN Card -> Ralink Technology Manfct.

Loc: PCI Slot 3 (PCI bus 36, device 0, function 0)

I have to add that it also slows down the computers performance overall when I turn on the Wireless Button, when the Bluetooth and wireless turns on, it starts freezing up and etc, as if its running on full CPU usage.

Thank you! But I keep getting this error when I'm trying to install an application:

What does I/O device error means? which device/driver is causing this error? any idea?

Hi:

Unfortunately, I don't know what that error means.

My experience is pretty much limited to helping folks find drivers.
