AS title says, I have an unknown device named Base System Device. i have downloaded all the drivers on the HP support site and there doesn't seem to be one there for this Base System Device. Is there anyone on here that may be able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

@HaSteNlQ

It's a safety feature related to the hard drive.  If the Mobile Data Protection Sensor detects your notebook is falling, it instructs the HDD to park the drive heads in an attempt to prevent damage to the drive. Please try  to reinstall  HP 3D DriveGuard software or try
