Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

I was trying to find out more about the situation with battery care and whether or not it will be available.

I just had to replace a bloating battery in my 2 year old HP Spectre x360 15-touch. The HP hardware diagnostics failed to catch it, but fortunately I noticed some very slight swelling in the touchpad and bottom plate and got it fixed before it was too late.

Does anyone know if battery health management is available for my laptop in order to limit the maximum capacity to 80%? I have seen mixed statements online, but so far it seems that it does not exist based on what I have seen in the BIOS (updated to the most recent version just now).

If it is not available, is it at least planned for the near future?

Best,

Max
