If you do a battery check in support assistant under diagnostic it will tell youa bout the battery..
it even tells you when the battery was made on all my models it was made in sept.
I think hp is feeding us B.S. turn this off turn this off. eventually we might not be able to turn on our laptops lol

Thanks for the heads up, im definitely gonna check that out if I decide to send it in for a battery replacement. For now though, I think im gonna wait for the promised bios update (according to a previous post) that's supposed to be released sometime in the next two weeks and see if that fixes the issue.
Pretty annoying since I absolutely love the machine, great build quality, great connectivity (for my use) and excellent battery life when im using it). I plan to buy a egpu case later on and that PD firmware (sphinx) might actually screw that up for me since it leaves PD firmware at version N/A. Although the sphinx fix greatly reduces battery drain for me, it's not perfect, I want it to be perfect.
