Hi everyone,

 

Product: HP Pavilion 14-dv0514TU

Operating System: Linux

 

I’m planning to install a Linux distribution on my HP Pavilion 14-dv0514TU, but I’m not sure which kernel version works best with this model.


I’ve read that some HP laptops have issues with Wi-Fi drivers or power management depending on the kernel.

Has anyone here successfully installed Linux on this device?


Should I look for a kernel 5.15+, or is it better to use something newer like 6.x for full hardware support?

By the way, if anyone in Vietnam needs help choosing laptops that work well with Linux, laptops.vn has some useful references and specs that can help compare compatibility before installing.
