Best WiFi Card Replacement to Fix Netr28x.sys BSOD?

I had BSODs of the same netr28x.sys kind but the driver referenced here (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Wireless-and-Networking/Ralink-RT5390-802-11b-g-n-WiFi-Adapte...) seemed to fix it. I did a clean install and ran into the driver problem again. After reinstalling the aforementioned driver a few days ago I ran into the issue again today. I am using the latest build of Windows. What WiFi card should I replace my existing one with to get it to stop?

Your machine was built around 2011, long way before mid-2014 therefore dues to the whitelist upgrading wireless adapter (ie wifi card) which is not in the list is from very slim to none.

You can find the list on page 56 of the following manual

  (The first one on the list is in your machine now).

Option: There are many newer USB adapters for example

I bought one early this year (same store but cheaper) for testing on my 11 years old machine and very happy with the outcome. I'm using it now and still keep the slower one, machine is smart enough to select the faster one when accessing internet.

Ok. I’ve seen that list and was aware of it I was just curious which WiFi card (either from the processor agnostic or AMD section) other than the one I have now which is causing problems would be most likely to not run into BSODs and driver issues such as I have now?
