HP Recommended

I haven't tried this experimental solution: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/Bios-issue-after-windows-update... And probably I won't. I'm sending my laptop to a local service support (not from HP). Though in case they can't fix it, I'll go back to that link.

Nevertheless, I'd like to discuss some other solutions.

I've heard somewhere (I don't remember when nor where) that motherboards have something like a really small battery (the CMOS battery), which if removed and placed again in the same spot, resets the BIOS. Do you know something about this?

I'm sharing here some pictures from my laptop's motherboard, in case you know where it is that battery so I can spot it (and if even such battery exist).
