My USB ports are mostly useless with only 1/4 function even remotely close to normal. I cannot get the laptop to recognize my phone and barely can get the wireless mouse to function. Hardware id's for the bluetooth peripheral devices that are unknown in device manager are as follows;

BTHENUM\{00001132-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_VID&0001000f_PID&1200
BTHENUM\{00001132-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_LOCALMFG&000f

BTHENUM\{00001132-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_VID&000205ac_PID&12a0
BTHENUM\{00001132-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_LOCALMFG&000f

BTHENUM\{00000000-deca-fade-deca-deafdecacafe}_LOCALMFG&000f

in my USB controllers in device manager i have an unknown device located in Port_#0002.Hub_#0003 with a driver version of 6.1.7601.18328 but it is unknown in hardware ids.

Hi @OvieIsBest ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv7-3157ca Notebook not connecting Bluetooth. Here is a document on connecting Bluetooth devices.

Here is a link to fixing Bluetooth issues. In this document is a link to adding a Bluetooth device. It shows you how to make sure it is on. It also shows you how to indicate you need to add an Icon to the desktop in the document.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
