Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this BCM BT W10 driver works for you...

Hi, @Hector_P :
HP has released a newer W10 Broadcom bluetooth driver recently.
You can see if this one works...
This package contains the Broadcom Bluetooth driver for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth Driver is required to enable Broadcom Bluetooth devices.
File name: sp73899.exe
Release details
Released: Nov 17, 2015
Version 12.0.1.695 Rev.A

Hi @Paul_Tikkanen,
Thank you for your promptly reply,
I installed the driver and still didn't work.
This is an almost new Win10 upgrade from a Win7 vanilla install (HP Restored to out of the box state, total age 2 weeks old).
It is important to mention that this device (that was fully functional on Win7) is not listed in Device Manager.
My guess is we are missing some other chipset driver maybe?
Elitebook 8460p
Bluetooth ID QDS-BRCM1043
BIOS Revision 68SCF Ver. F.61
Thanks
Hector

You're very welcome, Hector.
My guess is that you had the HP Connection Manager software installed, and the bluetooth radio was turned off at the time you upgraded to Windows 10.
The connection manager software is not compatible with W10, so I don't believe installing it at this point will work to enable the bluetooth radio.
Unfortunately, if the BT radio was turned off at the time, the only way you are going to get it to work again, is to revert to W7, make sure the BT radio is turned on, uninstall the connection manager, verify the BT radio is still on, and then upgrade back to W10.

Hi Paul_Tikkanen,
You were 100% right. I was a litlle sceptical but I did an image restore to my fresh Win7 install and found that I left BT turned off.
Turned it on, removed connection Managaner, them reinstalled W10 and the BT is working now.
Interestig that W10 was not able to see/turn on the BT. Any idea why?
Thank you!
Hector
