Hi, hope everything is good

I bought a HP 655 laptop, which comes bundled with a free OS, and I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Everything seems to be working fine, but it cannot detect or be detected by any device via bluetooth. All of the drivers and software were installed from the official site. It does not show any error or anything, and the devices show working ok in the device manager. I hope someone can help me, I'll be checking to see if you need any more information.

Regards, and thanks in advance!

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas other than to try a different software version.

Hi:

You have to install the corresponding bluetooth driver and software for the model wireless card you have in your notebook.

For example...if you have an Atheros wireless card, then you install the Atheros bluetooth software and driver.

If you have a Ralink wireless card, you install the Ralink bluetooth driver and software, and so forth.

Thanks, Paul. I downloaded the package for the Atheros card and the installation from the original file just disappeared in the middle of the process, not showing any error messages or anything. Then I tested it, and it detected my neighbor's xbox, but not any of my phones. Then I extracted all of the files in the package until I got to the Windows 7 x64 pack. I installed that one to the end without trouble, but I still can't see any of my phones nor the laptop from the cellphones. Any advice here?

Thank you very much
