I recently purchased an HP envy 15-j063ei and did a clean install from windows 8 to windows 8.1.
I remember the bluetooth working on the original OS.Now there doesn't even appear to be a bluetooth device installed, there is nothing obvious in the device manager even through there is an FCC ID in the Bios and the original specs ay that a bluetooth radio is present in the laptop.
I have installed all three bluetooth drivers from http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4158&lc=en&cc=za&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5393... the quallcom driver says something about not being able to detect the bluetooth hardware component.
I have yet to try to install or even check if I have installed all of the drivers listed under network but yea, thought I'd ask.
Thanks

Hi:
I see what you mean...I see no BT device category, or even a device needing a driver.
However this would be the Bluetooth driver and software you need for the Ralink wireless card your model has.
The product specs page for your model indeed indicates it comes with built in bluetooth.

Hi:
What model wireless network card does your PC use?
If you don't know, go to the device manager.
Click to expand the Network Adapters category.
There you will find the names and model numbers of the wired and wireless network adapters listed.
