I am having the same trouble. If I reseat my hdd, will I still have everything on my laptop? I can't lose all my files.

My laptop is product # D1E80UA#ABA. I just bought this laptop in Feb. so I still have my warranty.

I reseated my hdd and it did not help at all. I tried to restore defult settings using f10 then f9 and that didn't help either.

Is there any way to retrieve the files off of my hard drive? I have over 9,000 photos on there that I need.

If the hdd still has any life left in it you may be able to install it into a> USB HDD Enclosure, plug it into another machine via usb port and copy your files, photos off to the hdd of host machine. If the hdd spins up it should show up as another hdd in the host machine to be explored, etc.

I hooked my hdd into a different laptop and the same page popped up

The hdd is not likely going to boot on any machine. The only hope of recovering files is to use a USB hdd enclosure as I suggested above and plug it into usb port of a working machine. If the hdd spins up you should be able to see it as a storage drive and browse/copy files off to the hdd of the host machine.
