Booting failing

HP Recommended
Paviliong7-1150us
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hard drive C:\ change to X:\ and It want reboot , how do I change it back to C:\

When Windows boots, it ALWAYS sees the OS partition as the "C" drive, no matter what letter you might have assinged to it while using the PC.

 

For example, I have three OSs installed on my desktop, and the one I'm running is seen as "C", Win10 is seen as "F", and Win7 is seen as "D".  When I boot into Win7, it then is seen as "C", and Win8.1 is seen as "D".

 

So basically, whatever letter you assign to your OS will still be seen as "C" when you boot it.  There is no real way to change that.
