I have a laptop (HP EliteBook 8560p Intel Core i5-2410M 2.3GHz 250GB SSD 16GB RAM 15.6" DEDICATED VIDEO, WLAN, WWAN, BT, W7 64 bit... e.t.c.) with built in LED light (in the frame of screen) but I am dont understand how does it  works.  Because when I activated automatic brightness control and covered the light sensor by my finger -  the LED light does not "slip out".

If its gently try to pull up by fingernail and pull gently it can be seen that the LED lights up. What is this mean? And what is I doing wrong???

I think you are referring to the night light at the top of the screen near the camera?

Simply press in on it, and it pops out. It doesn't automatically slip out, and can be activated regardless of any ambient light. The LED automatically turns on when you pop it out. Just push it back in to pop it back in.

Hope this answers your question.

Thank you, in the accompanying instruction  not written any word about it!

Perhaps they figured it's like a light switch, no instructions needed.  🙂
I accidentally just fiddled with it one day and I figured it out.

I'm able to open LED by pressing the button having bulb icon the LED pops out but it doesn't work (Lit), Can you please tell how it would be fixed? through some configurations or LED is fused or something else has happened with it.
Thanks
