Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums. 

 

I understand that you have an HP Notebook - 14-ar003tu and would like to know if the RAM can be upgraded on it. I'll surely assist you with this.

 

I did some research on this case and found that the maximum RAM that can be installed is 8-GB (PC4, 17000, 2133-MHz). Please view page# 52 from the service guide.
