My laptop turned off suddenly and wont turn on again. I opened it up and found that a voltage regulator is not working properly. I would like to replace it but I can't identify the manufacturer logo after looking through online lists of manufacturers. It looks like the letter S with a vertical line with a slight bend in the middle through it, or on it's side it looks like the number 69 with a horizontal line with a slight bend in the middle. What is this manufacturer?

Hi @The_Fossette, thank you for your interest in helping. Here is a picture of the component. I wasn't able to find any matches onlne by googling the numbers on it, looking for the unknown logo, or looking up my computer as a whole. The component I am wondering about is the one in the center of the piture that starts with M30. Thanks!

Hi @NeedHelp651

The part is a MOSFET which is used on the motherboards to regulate the voltage. I checked and it is available online if you want to purchase one. Please google M3016D.

Hope that answers your question.
