Can't Restore or Format my HP Probook 4530s

HP Probook 4530s
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I have been trying to format my laptop as the screen keeps blacking out and the laptop is working very slowly.

I read a few forums to check how to do this. It says to use HP recovery and back up program, which for some reason isn't on my laptop. My laptop does have a partition of the hard drive for recovery but I can't see any of these files.

 

I also followed the steps by turning off my computer, restarting the laptop,  pressing "esc", then pressing F11, but this does not work and just loads up windows without doing anything. I did read you can buy recovery discs from HP, however when I type in my model it doesn't give me that option.

 

I'm now completely stuck what to do and don't want to buy a new laptop, can anyone help me with this issue ASAP please.

Hi:

 

If the F11 recovery method didn't work, you can:

 

Order a set of W7 recovery media from HP...In the USA/Canada, call:  1-800-334-5144.

 

If you can still read all 25 characters of the W7 product key on your PC's case, you can make your own W7 installation media and use that to reinstall W7.

 

This site claims to have genuine, unadulterated W7 ISO files for download...

Click on the link labeled Windows ISO Downloader.exe

 

You can use either the:

 

 Win 7 Home/Pro SP1 (as applicable to the product key) or the (Retail version, but the  OEM key on your PC's case will work with it)

 

 Win 7 Home/Pro SP1 COEM (as applicable to the product key)  (This version would be for what HP would have used--System Builder)

 

N is for European Union (EU) countries.

 

K is for South Korean markets.

 

Then you can use this tool to transfer the file to a 4 GB USB flash drive or a DVD.
