Can't seem to access the BIOS setup... After I turned on the laptop and press Esc key then F10 key to enter the BIOS this is what I see:
Edit Windows Boot Option
Path: \Windows\System32\winload.exe
Partition: 2
Hard disk: e871e610
[/Noexecute=OPTIN
After that there's a prompt to choose whether to press enter to submit or esc to cancel. I tried to press enter then after that the Windows 7 Logo appears and load upto the logon screen. I Logged in and I noticed that another partition had been added, but I can't access that partition. I tried to delete it using the disk management but it doesn't appear on it. My problem is, how can I access the BIOS setup and How can I delete the partition? Please help...
I'm using Pavilion dv6-6c35dx Entertainment PC with Windows 7 64-bit installed

I am having the exact same problem (except I don't think it's created any new partitions). Whether I press esc then F10, or just press F10, I get the same result. Other function keys (F1, F2, F7, F9) that are supposed to trigger startup options don't do anything at all.
Oddly, it worked fine just a couple weeks ago. No idea what may have trigger this, and reinstalling BIOS and related updates has had no effect.
Have done some searching and see a couple posts with the same type of problem, but no real solutions. Any help would be welcome.

Hello bmeup_17. I understand you're getting the same error as the original poster. Is this correct?
The BIOS for the notebook must be intact. I say this because the BIOS is the "middle-man" between the hardware and the operating system. If the BIOS was not functioning then the notebook would not boot at all. Also, the BIOS is stored on a chip on the motherboard and not on the hard drive itself. However, the UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) is stored on the hard drive. This contains a lot of the various tools and diagnostics that you can access from the BIOS. I would suggest reinstalling this as a first step.
In order to make sure you install the right UEFI for the notebook I will need your product number. If you're unsure where to locate this number take a look at this document.

Thanks for the reply. My product is an HP Pavilion g6t-1b00 CTO Notebook PC. I have already downloaded and installed the following, to no avail:
HP Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Support Environment (sp57924)
HP System Diagnostics UEFI (sp52407)
HP BIOS Update UEFI (sp52264)

I did a little more research and I believe I was incorrect. It seems that the file that the error is mentioning (winloader.exe) is part of the Windows bootloader. I think a good next step would be to perform a repair installation of Windows. This will re-install all of the required system files.
The steps are a little much for me to type out here so I think you should take a look at this website for instructions.
This should keep your personal files intact by the way.

Well, the repair install was going swimmingly...until it completely stopped before finishing. So now after restoring my laptop to its factory image and reloading all my software and data, it's no different than it was--still can't access the BIOS setup.
In the process of restoring everything I did run Seagate SeaTools to check the hard drive just in case, and it got a clean bill of health.

This issue is quite strange. If the BIOS was actually corrupted the notebook would be unable to boot. Also, the error is referring to a Windows files (winloader.exe). However, if you've taken the notebook back to factory setting (HP System Recovery) and the problem persists then this implies it is a hardware issue.
I think this issue would benefit from having a technician look at it in person. If your notebook is not in warranty I suggest taking it to a local computer repair show. Often times they will be able to diagnose the issue while you're in the store and discuss your repair options with you.
If the notebook is in warranty (check here) then you should contact HP Support to inquire about a repair. The number for US/Canadian customers is 1-800-474-6836. If you're in another part of the world you'll need to visit HP Support Worldwide to get your region's contact information.

How to Access the BIOS on the HP Pavilion dv6
(with Windows 10 as of April 18, 2016)
Select: Start Screen
Select: Settings
Type: Boot
Select: Change advanced startup options (System settings)
Select: Restart now (from advanced startup)
Note: Position your finger above the esc key to be ready to immediately select esc when 'Press the esc key
for startup menu' appears very briefly in the lower left side of display screen after the next action.
Select: Continue (Exit and continue to Windows 10)
Press: 'esc' key when Press the esc key for startup menu appears in the lower left side of screen
Note: The Startup Menu screen will be displayed with options F1, F2, F9, F10, F11 and Enter available.
Press: the F10 key (the BIOS Utility Setup screen will then be displayed)
