This computer has been running slow and choppy from the day I got it 3 months ago. On Saturday it was exceptionally bad so I restarted it. Upon restart I got an error and and the system checked for a solution and tried to restart numerous times but would not. I decided to reset the PC since I've had problems. After the reset, the clock in the taskbar was set at 24 hour and the clock/calender would not open. I tried to make changes in the settings but one of the pull down menu options doesn't give me an option.
I noticed some of the settings and Windows options were missing after the reset so I reset again. The clock is still set at 24 hour time and now most apps will not open. I click them, they start to open and then nothing happens.
I feel like I need warranty support but don't even know how to contact anyone so hopefully these problems can be resolved here.

Please try to hold down Windows key and press I (letter I),
(a) Click "Time & language",
(b) Click "Additional date, time & regional settings" (top right corner).
(c) Change date/time formats ....
(d) Click Apply/Ok
Regards.

I tried that previously and the the the pull down menu for the Long time did not give me any options.
I have done a clean install today and so far, so good. I have a clock with the correct time in 12 hour format and I can clock on the time/date and the window opens. Hopefully all of the other problems are resolved as well.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Pam
