Hi:

You need this driver for that device...

HP 3D DriveGuard Software

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81885.exe

Hmmmm

Thanks but it does not work. An error in c:/.../accelerometer.inf

"c:/.../" ... Really the best moment to play riddles ?

I tried to install this, to uninstall to reinstall, it doesn't work.

But you gave me a clue....

Super, now how to download a file from FTP//FTP.HP.COM.... is another question.

Third : why does HP not provide this driver normally ? Or even why there is not a simple table of what driver and version corresponds to what SP5dsvjdvu6468484684686816818961681684682446 file ?

Fed up.

You're very welcome.

If that one didn't work, use the newer version.

7.0.17.1

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp107501-108000/sp107654.exe

Some of the older versions have issues with the newer builds of W10.

To download a driver from the ftp site you have to use Internet explorer or Edge in Internet explorer mode.

It is a PITA.

I don't work for or represent HP, so I can't answer your 3rd question.
