Hey Guys,
It's Ernesto from Peru. I could find the driver for the GeForce 7150M, and it worked really fine in my HP Pavilion dv2700 (Running Windows 10 Pro - 64bits). First I had the same problem and I tried with 3DCHIP, a software that update drivers from your pc). You can download it here.
Steps:
1. Download 3DCHIP (for some unaccountablereason it does not work on Microsoft Edge).
2. Install it on your PC.
3. Launch the software.
3. Click into your Graphic's Card name, and you'll be redirected to the driver download page.
(Remember that it does not work on Microsoft Edge)
4. Click on Driver Download and voilá.
5. It will start downloading the driver.
6. Uncompress and install.
If you can see, I have the 16:10 aspect ratio and all the nVidia settings.
I hope you can solve your problem.

msddjd,
It worked! I have an older dv2620us entertainment notebook. Had it for 8 years. Have always upgraded the OS to the latest version. Never a display adapter problem. Was really frustrated with the Windows 10 and have posted several times regarding the display driver disparity.
However, sometimes it seems the most obvious things can be easily overlooked until some person wiser than ones self points it out, and that is what you have done.
By reinstalling the original display driver for this unit, all the graphics problems are now history. Perhaps that is why it was never updated by either HP or Nvidia. It would have been nice for one of them to tell that to us, don't you think?
Be that as it may, your giudance we superb and eliminated the huge frustration I have been having with Win10. I have upgraded 3 other PCs without a hitch, but for some reason this Nvidia display adapter driver has given me much grief.
I hope others will find your guidance useful.
Thanks again,
The Dawntreader

I was able to find a temporary fix until they hopefully release an updated driver for windows 10.
1. I downloaded the following file from NVIDIA. Select the appropriate one for your system.
64bit:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_notebook_winvista_win7_64bit_179.48_beta.html
32bit:
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/8971/en-us
2. Installed it and restarted Windows 10
3. Launch the device manager and extended the display adapters
4. Right clicked on the sub item and selected "update driver software"
5. Then selected "Browse my computer for driver software"
6. Tell Windows to search in the following directory which should have been created by the application that was downloaded "C:\NVIDIA". Make sure the search subdirectories check box is checked.
7. Once it finished the GeForce 7150/nForce 630M was successfully installed on Windows 10.
I was able to instal it using the 64 bit version but I assume it will work for the other version too as long as it is the correct one for your system.

If you do a clean install of Windows 10 (not upgrading to keep your original files), you can download the NVIDIA driver for Vista and install it. Windows 10 will let you do that. You may have to go into Device Manager to select the NVIDIA driver afterward, but it does work. It's running just fine on mine and offers much better resolution than the Windows default video driver.
Here is the link... http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/8971/en-us
I suppose if you want, you could download the driver for Windows 7, but mine worked, so I decided to run with it.
