Product: Hp Notebook Intel Pentium
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When i go into file explorer and double click on my pictures, it doesnt open. A an alert pops up that reads 

"The app did start" 

i have restarted my laptop 3 times, but the pictures still wont open in 'Photos' 

 

I bought this laptop only 4 days ago, how do i solve this issue without going to get a new laptop?

Hi,

 

Please try

 

(a) Right click the photo,

(b) Select Properties,

(c) Select Open with Windows Photo viewr

(d) Click Ok/Apply

 

They will open next time.

Hi,

 

Could be something in Windows. Have you tried other options on the list ? Otherwise, please download and install the following app:

 

     http://www.irfanview.com/

 

This app is much easier to use and it can do many things.
