Hi, I have an HP Compaq 6735S and it won't start, when I hold down the Power button the fan strarts, the hdd turning on ( i can hear it running) but the screen stay black and the caps lock led blinking continuosly, I see the table with errors which make this led blinking but there are specifications only for 1 to 6 blinkings.
I tried this hard reset sequence:
1. Power off your laptop
2. Remove the a/c adapter, battery and everything that is attached to your laptop.
3. Hold the 'POWER 'button down on your laptop for about 10 seconds.
4. Plug in the a/c power supply (without battery) and power on.
But it doesn't work on my notebook and I have the same problem when it start.
P.S. I see that when i plug in the A/C Adapter the led state on the port where I plug this in turning on (half blue and half orange) for only a second and next it turning off but the battery stay charging.
