HP 15-ba054ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All,

I bought a new HP 15-ba054ng from an online reseller. This model comes with a German keyboard and I would like to replace it with an Italian one (I don't want to send this notebook back to the reseller).

Do you know if replacing the keyboard (by an authorized partner) will void the warranty?

Is there any italian keyboard available for this model?

Thanks

Nick

Hello Nick,

Replacing any parts of your unit with HP Authorized support providers will not VOID the Warranty.

This unit doesnt have ITALIAN Keyboard unfortunately.

You can resolve this issue by setting the keyboard to the desired language.
To set the keyboard language:
  1. Click Start, enter regional in the search field, then select Regional and Language Settings from the search results list.
  2. Select the Keyboards and Languages tab, then click Change keyboards.

  3. In the Text Services and Input Languages window, click the Add button.
  4. In the Add Input Language window, select a language and click OK.

  5. In the Text Services and Input Languages window, set the Default input language to the one you just selected.

  6. Next, select the language you do not want and click Remove.

  7. Click OK to save the changes and close the window. Then click OK again to close the Regional and Language Options window.

The keyboard is now set to the selected language.

Hi GBL84, Thanks for your reply.

When you say the unit does not have an italian keyboard do you mean that is not possible to install it because phiscally this doesn't exist?

Thanks

Nick
