HP Support asked me to do the following.
Please provide us the following details so that we could interpret/isolate the cause of the issue:
- Please Check if the unit is slow in BIOS.
- You can get into BIOS by tapping F10.
- Perform a HDD and Memory test in BIOS
4. Also let us know if the BIOS is updated (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=au&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=5390870&)
But didn't tell me how!
How do I do this on my Chromebook?

Hi GrahamGadget,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using the forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
I understand that you contacted HP support and they asked you to perform some tests in the Bios, but you are unable to access it.
I believe the support person was accessing the pavilion data for the Windows OS and did not realize you are running Google Chrome.
I am unable to locate any documentation on how to enter the bios in Google Chrome. I would suggest contacting HP support again, and be sure they are aware you are running Google Chrome OS.
