That's simple.
As far as I can tell, the Presario CQ62 is BOTTOM of line , and HAS NO WEB-CAM.
go look at staples or office max for a sale (no more then $20.00) when on sale...

I think some CQ62s DO have a webcam. If there is, it is easy to see the aperature in the dead center above the screen.
As far as the webcam not working, you can try installing an application like Youcam:

CQ62's do have webcams, it was an option, here is one model that does have it
