Pavilion g series
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I made a mistake and formated my recovery drive(d). Not I am unable to startup my computer. The startup tool was unable to automatically fix the problem and I can't use the recovery restore. Can I download the recovery restore to a CD from the HP site?

Hello @Jb94

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting !

No, you cannot download the HP Restore tool from HP website, not for Pavilion models. There are 2 ways tgo fix your PC now if you haven't created your own:

- [official method] purchase HP Recovery media

or

- [unofficial method] attempt to download Windows 7 ISO images and reinstall Windows if you have the > PC COA sticker < readable and attached to the PC.

Can you provide me with your full HP product model and product number (PN) as described here >> http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
