HP USB-C Dock G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am using a Elitebook x360 830 G7and a HP G5 USB-C Docking-Station. I wanted to connect 2 displays, 1 via HDMI, the second via DisplayPort. Unfortunately if I do this, one of my displays is unclear/vibrating. I switched cables, which doesn’t solve it. I also connected both of the displays separately, in that case they both work fine. Does anyone know what the problem may be?

Hi, @Jordana82 I will need more information about this.

What did you mean when you said that  "I also connected both of the displays separately, in that case, they both work fine"?

Sorry, I mean that I connected both displays at the same time in the Dock, but also one at a time. In the last case, both displays work fine. In the first case, one of the displays is unclear/vibrating.

Have you tried turning on “Enable High-Resolution Mode with USB C Docking Stations” in the BIOS?

No haven’t tried, thanks for suggestion! Unfortunately I don’t have acces because it’s a business notebook, it’s asking for Administrator Password. Do I have to call IT?
