Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have owned an Spectre 360 and since I purchased it, I noticed the laptop gets VERY hot. Last month, the laptop began overheating and shutting down randomly and without warning. I also noticed a burning smell and the laptop in spots was scalding to the touch. The laptop persisted with this overheating problem, and now it won't stay on at all. I took the computer to a reputable repair shop and they confirmed my suspicion, the motherboard was fried due to this overheating issue. This is an extremely dangerous issue that needs to be resolved, and I have seen and heard from numerous other Spectre customers who have had the same problems ( see previous forums... https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-Spectre-X360-motherboard-bu... , https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/HP-Spectre-x360-motherboard-burned/td-p/60811... , https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Spectre-X360-Burned-Motherboar... . This could cause a fire or extreme burns to the user and needs to be recalled immediately. I would like this message to be forwarded to a by a Risk Manager the Health & Safety department at HP so that we can get this laptop issue fixed. I have filed a claim through the US Consumer Product Safety Commission in hopes of helping others with the same issue. I paid nearly $1500 for this laptop and now it is completely useless.
