DragonHunter,

There are 19 different g-42 systems.  Smiling.

See my previous post(s).  You may have to update your driver if the very firm double click in the upper left corner doesn't unlock it.

If you send more infomation (computer model and operating system - Windows 7, Vista, etc.. 32 or 64bit),  then I will help you look for a driver, else follow the intructions in the posts above.

How do I unlock the touchpad on the 4430s probook

HP Recommended

Thanks very much.  I just had the same problem - locked the mousepad by accident.  Easily unlocked by double tapping the light.

My touchpad on my laptop 4530 isn't locked and it causes me to make mistakes when I'm typing.  Does anyone know how to lock the touchpad so it won't interfere with brushes from my palms while I'm typing?

It worked thanks.

I am trying to disable my touchpad on my probook 4430s. I understand tapping the left corner twice enables and disables this; however, it doesn't work for me. The light is off so I know its enabled. Is there a manuel way to disable this touchpad?
