        Hello Everyone:

For the trouble of doing the system-restore, I am compelled to boot into safe-mode.

Try to boot into the common safe-mode, it prompts:

This app can’t be opened using the built-in Administrator Account.

Sign in with a different account and try again.

Where is the “built-in Administrator Account”? How can I go there to do

Collection.

Help me to get out of the dilema.                       --Zhao

Hello @zpxykm

"app can’t be opened using the built-in Administrator Account." is usually refered to Modern/Metro apps and I have never seen this happen with System Restore.

What is the name of your account that you currently use ? What account do you try to login while in Safe Mode ?

Have you considered using the F11 option to boot to the recovery partition and using System Restore from there. Read more here >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03327545#AbT5
