I would like to ask you how to decrypt the HDD section.
Our employee when using the laptop by mistake encrypt one disk partition HDD, this section of the main and on it are the operating system files. During the boot process displays a window where we offer to enter the password:
I understand after entering the password section should be decrypted and then have to start Windows. But this does not happen, correct password is entered. Further shows the loader window, and he can not find the operating system files to load it, because the drive is still encrypted.
Fortunately, when the user of the encrypted disk, flash card has been installed on your computer, where you copied the key to recovery. His I also tried to use to decrypt the disk at boot:
It also has given nothing, partition remains encrypted, Windows not boot.
Then I decided to take a separate, external HDD with installed Windows 10 (Windows To Go)
After downloading, we can see the encrypted partition "F".
By connecting it to a laptop I booted from it and then install the programs HP:
- HP Client Security
- Drive Encryption
Programs have been established, the disc is determined, but I still can not remove the protection from it. The program requires to login before you remove the protection.
"Чтобы прочесть данные с защищенных вами дисков, сначала войдите в систему." "To read the data you protected disks, you must first log into the system."
How can I log in on behalf of the user who encrypted partition. Section because encrypted and enter the program with the original system is not possible.
What to do in such a situation.
