HP ProBook 6545b
Display port does not work in WIndows 7. There are multiple devices in Device Manager that do not have drivers, but Windows in unable to find a driver for them. I have downloaded almost all the drivers on HP website for the laptop and installed them. Device manager has 1 unknown device and 2 Base System devices that do not have drivers.
The display port worked fine when I had WinXP on the laptop. The Win7 install was a fresh install on a wiped driver, so it is not from the upgrade.
Thanks,
cbabfat

Hi:
What bit version of W7 are you using? 32 or 64?
This driver should take care of the Base System Device.
For any other missing devices, please click on them in the device manager. Then click on the details tab. In the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters you see there. Those will further identify the device and I can send you the link to the drivers.

That would be your fingerprint sensor driver.
